Anyone can be a father, but it takes someone special to be a true dad. Any man can just bring life into this world. But it takes someone special to care for, nurture, mentor, and love. There are so many fathers out there in the world. But there are only a few real dads out there who are actually worthy of the title.

A true dad isn’t just someone who is rich and famous and is able to buy his family everything they want. A true dad isn’t just someone who would be able to bring his family to all the most luxurious tourist destinations in the world. He isn’t someone who would be able to buy the most lavish and expensive gifts during every trip to the mall. A true dad isn’t just someone who is able to send his kids to the most exclusive schools.

A true dad CAN be all of those things, but those aren’t the things that would define him. A true dad is only defined by how much he values family over any other thing in life. A true dad is someone who understands that it’s important to always prioritize the family above other things in life. A true dad is someone who always makes sure that he’s there for his family whenever they need him. He is someone who is never going to make his family feel abandoned. He is the kind of dad who would always show up for his kids and his wife whenever they need him.

A true dad isn’t going to abandon his family just because times get rough. He isn’t going to let his kids down when they need him to step up. He is the kind of dad who would never give up on his family no matter how heavy of a burden or load he has to carry on his back. He is the kind of dad who would do anything that it would take to keep his family afloat and happy.

A true dad is someone who is always going to show a willingness to invest most of his time, energy, attention, and effort into his family. It doesn’t matter how tired, exhausted, drained, or busy he is with other things. He is always going to try to make sure that he is accessible and available to his kids. He is the kind of guy who would always be willing to put himself outside of his comfort zone just so his kids know that he’s always there.

A true dad is someone who is always going to be willing to make sacrifices for his family. He is someone who is always going to place the needs of his family above his own. He is someone who always wants to do his best to secure the safety and happiness of his family. And even if that means that he will have to give up a few of his wants and desires, he’s going to do it. He is always going to prioritize his family’s overall happiness above his own personal selfish needs.

A true dad is someone who is always going to show his kids the power of unconditional love. He is always going to be willing to shower his kids with a lot of valuable life lessons. He is always going to prove to them that true love exists in this world – and that he is the perfect proof for it. If he is going to have sons, he’s going to teach them what it really means to be a true gentleman. He will show his sons how to treat women and how to stand up for themselves against bullies. If he’s going to have daughters, he’s going to love and protect them with all of his might. He’s going to teach them to never settle. He’s going to show them that men are capable of great love and that they just have to make sure to choose the right one.

A true dad is always going to invest himself in the lives of his kids. He is always going to know what his kids’ passions are. He’s going to want to know their favorite hobbies, singers, interests, goals, and dreams are. He’s going to want to know what they think about when they fantasize about their own lives. A true dad is someone who is going to be someone who would do whatever it takes to make sure that his kids have a happy and meaningful life.

Not a lot of people are going to be lucky enough to be raised by true dads. That is why if a lot of the things here apply to your own dad, then you better be thankful. He’s one in a million, and you need to show him your appreciation.
